Our Purpose |
The Childbirth Education Association of Cincinnati was established in 1950 as a non-profit organization dedicated to preparing couples for the birth of their baby.
Our group of Registered Nurses and Registered Dieticians provide comprehensive childbirth preparation. We maintain membership in various professional organizations and are certified Childbirth Educators and or Certified Lactation Counselors.
Our classes are designed to meet your individual educational need. Topics include nutrition, breastfeeding, comfort techniques for labor, the role of the labor partner, exercises during pregnancy, hospital procedures, and special situations, including Cesarean birth.
While there are a number of childbirth classes available, CEA classes are comprehensive, in-depth and focused on preparation.

"Thanks to our childbirth classes, we felt extremely prepared and
everything went smoothly. The birth of our son was the most
pleasant, rewarding and memorable experience." |
"Basically we
felt the course was very informative and thorough despite our both being
pediatricians/physicians, we found it useful and helpful. The
information gives on unborn care was practical, and we were impressed with
the emphasis on the use of a car seat." |
