the Basic class.
Childbirth Education
Association (CEA) Series at Good Samaritan
This five week series will help prepare you for your birth experience and
empower you with the knowledge you need to make informed decisions. our
registered dietitians will give you updated information regarding your diet in
late pregnancy as well as nutrition for your newborn. Our childbirth
instructors are registered nurses who are certified professional childbirth
educators. In our interactive classes you will learn everything you need
for labor and delivery including the answers to such questions as: How
will I know if I am in labor? What will happen in the hospital?
What can I do to help my labor progress? What can my partner do
to help me be more comfortable? What are my options concerning
mediation and other interventions? What can I expect after delivery
for me and my baby? Videos are used to help present the information.
The CEA childbirth book, "Guide to Childbirth," contains additional information
and is included in the fee. Cesarean delivery and breastfeeding
information are not presented in this class but are provided at another time at
no additional fee to participants. Register by calling 5132-661-5655 or

Education Association (CEA) Breastfeeding Class at Good Samaritan
Breastfeeding is a learned art for mom and
baby. This class will help you learn the skills needed to get off to a
good start. Your birthing partner is encouraged to attend this class with
you. Together you will learn how to recognize if the baby has a good latch
on the breast, if the baby is getting enough milk, where to find help with
breastfeeding concerns as so much more, including tips for returning to work or
school. The instructors are IBCLC, international board certified
lacatation consultants or CLC, certified lacatation counselors. This class
is FREE for those registered in a CEA five week series, the Unmedicated series
or a CEA One-Day class. Fee: $25 per two person birthing team.

Cesarean Delivery Information
at Good Samaritan
This two hour class prepares you for either a scheduled or
unplanned cesarean birth. This class explores the reasons for cesarean
birth and what to expect before, during, and after delivery. This class is
co-sponsored by Childbirth Education Association. FREE for those couples
registered for the Childbirth Education association (CEA) series, the
Unmedicated Birth Class or the CEA One-Day Class. All participants must
register by calling 513-661-5655 or sign up in the noted classes, Fee: $25
for a two person birthing team.

Association (CEA) One-Day Childbirth Class at Good Samaritan
Do you want information about labor and delivery but are
short on time? This class provides the information in a condensed format.
Our registered dietitians will give you updated information regarding your diet
in late pregnancy s well as nutrition for your newborn. Our childbirth
instructors are registered nurses who are certified professional childbirth
educators. In our interactive classes you will learn the answers to such

One class for those who have
previously attended childbirth classes and wish to review information.
Taken in 7th or 8th month.
